Exactly what I needed
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, price
Cons: None Full review I decided I needed a handheld organizer when I found myself booting up my laptop just to look at my schedule in Outlook. I only wanted something that would hold contacts & calendar - nothing fancy. After some research, the Palm Z22 seemed to fit the bill. I chose it for it's ease of synching with Outlook, small & lightweight size, and good price. I've been using it for a month and have found it to be exactly what I need. Setup was simple...just charge the batter and follow the instructions on the screen. The first synch with Outlook took about 20 minutes, but subsequent Hotsyncs are under 2 minutes, perfect. I had no experience writing with the Graffiti2 before purchasing this Palm, and I found it simple to learn and easy to use. I can write fairly quickly and the Palm picks up my letters with great accuracy. The display quality is nothing to write home about, and looking at pictures is kind of grainy, but I don't use it for that purpose often so it's not a big con to me. Battery life is good, I charge it about every other day and get 6-8 hours of use out of each charge. For the price, this is the perfect little organizer to keep my appointments & contacts in order. |
