Pretty good, some bugs
Pros: Relatively easy to use, has a great calendar function.
Cons: Finding one that works from the getgo. Full review I am not a tech/gadget minded person, so I fit the profile of the target consumer for the Z22 perfectly. I have always been dependent on my big Franklin planner to keep myself quasi-organized and after researching different devices, I decided the Z22 was the best for me. However, the first one I purchased at Office Depot would never even turn on. I followed the instruction guide, and did the 3 hour initial charge with no results. Attempted to do a soft reset and then a hard reset. I let it charge overnight and it still wouldn't work. My 17 yr old son took a look at it and said 'You got one with iPod syndrome, just take it back and get a different one.' I guess iPods are known to occasionally come out of the factory nonfunctional. I went back and the manager confirmed that sometimes that is the exact problem, and gave me a new one. This one has been problem free and although I'm still learning all the features, I have been super pleased with the calendar function especially with the alarm to remind me of a task or event I need to remember. I like the big screen and find it very easy to read. I haven't gotten the hang of the Graffiti2 writing function, but I prefer the keyboard anyway. My only complaint at this point is some difficulty getting it to Hotsync. |
