I am a medical resident, I bought my TX about a year and a half ago just before I started residency. So far it has done everything I needed it to. It will store tons of medical software / books with the added SD card I bought. It loads epocrates (drug program) very quickly, much more so than the Sony Clie it replaced. Also, I can access web resources through WiFi at my hospital and clinic, although wifi seems to eat battery life like crazy. The sync process with my PC has been trouble free for the most part. I also love the fact that I can store pics of my family on it and view them wherever I am.

My main complaint, and the only thing keeping me from giving this device a five star rating, is the power button. It recently became hard to use and finally just stopped working. It is out of warranty and Palm would charge a mint to fix it, not to mention I would be without the Palm for a while. I did however find a program that would let me remap the power button to one of the hard buttons on the bottom of the device. If not for this, I was having to turn on the palm with one of the hard buttons and set my auto shutoff to the shortest amt of time, to be able to turn it off.

All in all, I would be wary of the power button issue, otherwise a great tool.
