OUTSTANDING!

Pros: Excellent signal quality, great battery life, loaded with features
Cons: None that I can honestly say.

The bottom line: This is a great phone if you are looking for an all in one device.

This is by far the best phone I have EVER used. I considered getting an I-phone, but after testing out a friends, I knew he TyTn was for me. I also considered getting the TyTn II/AT&T Tilt, since it included built in GPS. However, the price difference was just too big. I think this phone is better though, because it also has an IrDa port (the Tilt/TyTn II do not have this) It was only important to me since I use Novii remote control deluxe so that my phone also functions as a universal remote for my T.V., DVD, surround sound etc. It works great by the way but the range is a little limited. I also decided on the NON-branded HTC version instead of the AT&T 8525 version mostly because the HTC is unlocked and has all of the bloatware and junk removed from it. The HTC version also has a front facing video-conference camera which allows you to make video calls to someone else with a video enabled phone. I thought this might be a nifty novelty but later found out that the U.S. has no carriers that support this function...YET. It does work well with Skype though and also as a portable web-cam. The phone itself works great and the reception is OUTSTANDING! The EDGE feature works great and I have actually been impressed with data speeds...no 3G available in my city...YET. I upgraded it to Windows Mobile 6 and the HTC homescreen with TouchFlo...and it runs flawlessly! If you are new to PDA phones/smartphones, the interface may take a little getting used to...but I have come to appreciate the amount of features and functions that this phone provides. I use a 2GB micro SD card and it also works great with the phone. I have heard that it will support up to 6GB with the WM6 upgrade, but I have not tested this yet. The camera is a 2MP and takes decent pics, but I wouldn't rely on it for my primary camera...of course. The slide-out keyboard works nicely even for a guy like me. This phone also features WiFi and Bluetooth which both work great. The Wifi actually has incredible range as does the Bluetooth. My Bluetooth headset stays connected with this phone even better than my Motorola did. I will be buying a Bluetooth GPS receiver soon so I will update this review when it comes in. All in all, this is a fantastic phone loaded with features...and great battery life! Call quality is great and the speakerphone works well. I really don't have any negative things to say about this phone...honestly...I really like it! I hope this helps you in your decision making or research. This phone retails for around $700 new , but you can find a much better deal if you search. Since the Tilt/TyTn II has been released, the price of this phone has dropped somewhat. In my opinion, this is a better phone...but thats just my opinion.
